Press Release Body: Manhattan, New York - September 9, 2008 - Lion Brand Yarn
Company (http://www.Lionbrand.com) will be sponsoring a yarn contest at Michaels
stores beginning October 12, 2008 where the grand prize will be $1,000 and an
all-expense paid trip to Los Angeles to meet Vanna White and be part of the audience
of Wheel of Fortune. The contest ends on February 1, 2009.

Crafters will be able to submit a photo of their creation in four categories:
afghan, baby, sweater and craft. Each category offers prizes ranging from $100 to
$1,000 for a total of 32 prizes including the grand prize. For complete contest

which goes live on October 10th 2009.

On Monday, October 20th from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m, Vanna White will make an
appearance at a Michaels store at 7340 Carson Boulevard, Long Beach, California.
This will mark the first time that Vanna White is appearing to promote her yarn,
Vanna\'s Choice in public to consumers.

For over 14 years, Vanna White has been the spokesperson for Lion Brand Yarn Company
appearing annually as the emcee of the Lion Brand Fashion show at the Craft and
Hobby Association trade show. In June 2007 Lion Brand and Vanna introduced the first
ever celebrity endorsed hand-knitting yarn called Vanna\'s Choice. In June of 2008
the Vanna\'s Choice Baby yarn collection was introduced with a palette of
contemporary colors for kids and babies. Three richly illustrated Vanna White
pattern books are currently available at leading craft retailers nationwide.
